The Royals tried to spread their free agent money around bringing in Jason Kendall, Scott Podsednik and Rick Ankiel over the winter. They also added Chris Getz and Josh Fields in a trade with the White Sox. But, the Royals didn’t address a pitching staff with only two standouts (Zack Greinke and Joakim Soria). I don’t think the Royals did near enough to help keep them out of last place in the American League Central. In fact, I think the Royals are the worst team in the A.L. and I would take the under for Royals’ wins in 2010.
