The Kansas City Royals look to spend more revenue sharing money

The Kansas City Royals will be looking to make one big splash in free agency for a power hitter to stick in left field as they are tired of waiting for Mark Teahan to turn into something. The Royals need a righty bat and with that in mind look them to make a big play for Pat Burrell. If they lose out on him they might take a shot on someone like Juan Rivera who’s very talented but never has gotten full time at bats. The Royals might also be on the hunt for a bargain starting pitcher to fill out the rotation. Guys like Freddy Garcia, Jon Lieber, Josh Fogg and Carl Pavano will be considered. The Royals could also take a flier on younger pitchers like Brad Hennessey and Kevin Correia.
